Another standout chapter in my journey was the opportunity to serve as the Chief System and Mix Engineer for the Lamb of God concert in Bangalore, marking the kickoff of their 2012 India tour. With a packed audience of over 7,000 fans, I led the deployment of an all-Harman system powered by JBL VERTEC V5 line arrays and Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers. The setup featured 20 VT4889 elements, 16 subs, and VT4886/VT4883 units for centre and mosh-pit fills. The V5 DSP presets delivered such remarkable tonal balance that minimal EQ was needed, truly unlocking new life and clarity in the system.

The concert was not only a high-energy experience but also a technical benchmark for delivering world-class sound in a live setting. I shared my feedback on the system’s performance in a feature published by Pro AVL Asia, contributing to an industry-wide recognition of JBL’s enhanced capabilities.
